Details

Private Session:
You are welcome to attend Golden Hour Therapy as a private client. Please see the fees outlined above for a 50-minute session.

Medicare Rebate:
Golden Hour Therapy provides psychology sessions under the Medicare Better Access Program for eligible clients. You may be able to access a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, which will enable you to receive a Medicare rebate of $96.65 for ten sessions per calendar year.

Private Health:
Psychology sessions can be claimed with most private health funds when seeing a psychologist. Please note: this is not applicable if also using the Medicare rebate. Please consult your private health fund for additional details. In order to receive your refund, you simply need to take the receipt from your therapy session to your private health fund.

Please note: I do not typically undertake report writing or provide documentation for legal or court-related matters as part of my practice. If you require a letter of support, I may want to see you for a certain number of sessions before agreeing to write a letter.



Cancellations:
As sessions are in high demand, I require 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a session without incurring a cancellation fee.
I understand that illness or unexpected events can occur that may prevent you from being able to attend your scheduled session. Please allow at least 24 hours of notice for cancellation or rescheduling your appointment so that the session can be offered to clients on the waitlist.

Please note: if an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or non-attendance occurs, then the full session fee will be charged. Please know that telehealth sessions (either by phone or video) are available if you cannot attend your face-to-face session.

Reminder texts and/or emails may be sent as a courtesy; however, they do not replace the client’s responsibility to keep a record of their scheduled appointment dates and times.
